Chaplain for Lake Hart Headquarters.
Carl’s ministry is centered on serving the prayer needs of Lake Hart
staff and intentionally praying for e-mail requests and phone requests received
at Lake Hart Prayer Center. Phyllis:
Coordinator of International Arts Movement Orlando.
Phyllis’ ministry is not unlike prayer in that it is partly carried out
in the shadows. Creating artwork is
a personal, meditative, worshipful time, with study, research and prayer about
specific scripture passages she studies. An
image is created in response to what God shows her and the artwork is then
exhibited in churches, galleries and various juried exhibitions.
Each time a work is presented, there is opportunity to speak to viewers
about what the work means and why she painted it.
Each event is an opportunity to speak about her faith and the foundation
of scripture and Christ in her life. She
also is involved in networking among faith artists in Orlando and other cities
