Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering started in 1895 to help
keep missionaries in the field by giving them funding. The first goal for the
Offering was $5000. Since
that first offering, Southern Baptists have collected over $1 billion. Annie
Armstrong herself was never a missionary but was a missionary's advocate.
During the month of March, HBC will be collecting monies for the Annie Armstrong Easter
Offering. There are offering envelopes in the mail with regular offering
envelopes. There will also be envelopes
in the chairbacks in the auditorium. HBC has set a goal of
$1700 for this year's offering. Our support
is needed.
