Pastor Amos oversees the staff and drives the overall ministry vision of the church. He is a former public high school teacher who holds a bachelor’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, (1992) a Master’s of Divinity degree with Biblical languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas (1997) and a Doctorate of Ministry degree in theology and biblical counseling from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky (2010). Pastor Amos has adjunctively taught Christian ministry courses at Huntington University (2008-09), and served two years as interim Director of Missions for the Northeast Indiana Baptist Association (2004-06). His concern for missions has led him to serve on the Executive Board of the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana as well as lead several mission trips to Eastern Europe. His passions are God, his family, teaching God’s word, counseling, and sharing God’s love with others. Pastor Amos and his wife Emily have four children – Eli, Adam, Isaac, and Anna.

Jamie Myers

Pastor Jamie's heart is to minister to young people and their families. He has an AS in Aerospace Maintenance and a BA in Christian Professional Studies along with 8 years of service in the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. His Master of Divinity with a concentration in Biblical Counseling is from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to serving at Huntington Baptist, Pastor Jamie will serve as a chaplain in the Air Force reserve. Jamie, his wife, Aarica, and daughter, Lydia, will begin their service at Huntington Baptist in mid-March 2012.

Heath Stettler

Christian Education

Heath oversees our overall Christian education ministry here at HBC. He has served at HBC for over 4 years. He has an Associates degree in Biblical Theology from Boyce College of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Heath and his wife, Angela, have two children, Taylor and Abigail.

Tim Ivey

Worship Ministry

Tim oversees worship ministry here at HBC. Tim is a gifted musician who is currently pursuing a degree in Church Music from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He loves music and working with children. Tim and his wife Missy have four children, Jozie, Adin, Charis, and Addison.

Linda Ivey

Office Manager

Linda has been a member of Huntington Baptist Church for over twenty years and joined our staff in June 2007. Linda handles the overall accounting/business needs of the church and serves as administrative assistant to the staff. Linda has three adult children and eight grandchildren.
